I am a recent graduate of North Carolina State University (NCSU) in Raleigh, North Carolina with a M.S. in Crop Science. In graduate school, I worked in the Alternative Crops and Organic Production Systems Lab with Dr. David Suchoff in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences. My research focused on alternative production systems for organic field crops. Previously, I worked as a research and Extension program assistant with the Cornell Vegetable Program in Western New York and the Finger Lakes and as the manager of a diverse CSA and market farm at East Hill Farm in Middlesex, NY.

My mission is to find and close gaps in knowledge that prevent growers from maximizing economic and environmental sustainability. I am well versed in using grower-centered educational methods in the field and in written and virtual spaces. I am also passionate about connecting eaters with food that nourishes bodies and strengthens communities.
